We provide a pre-departure orientation to give you ideas on how to prepare an effective resume, and how and where to look for part-time or casual work. However, this does not guarantee you a job.
Yes. You are only allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the school term. If you are found to be working more than 20 hours per week, the DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship) will cancel your visa.
Once you arrive in Australia you cannot start working until your course begins.
Yes. We can represent you at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). If your visa has already been cancelled or your application has been refused by the DIAC we can represent you at the Migration Review Tribunal (MRT).
Note: There are certain criteria you have to meet to be able to lodge your application at the MRT.
