Partner (Spouse) Visas:
People who are engaged, formally married, in a de facto relationship or in an interdependent relationship (e.g. same-sex relationship) with the Australian/ENZ (Eligible New Zealand) citizen or Australian Permanent Resident are eligible to apply for provisional or permanent spouse visa.- Prospective Marriage Visa - subclass 300 (fiance visa): This visa is for a person who is engaged, but not yet married, to an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen.
- Spouse (Provisional) Visa - subclass 309: This visa is for a person who is married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen and how is outside Australia when they apply. This visa is 'provisional' which means it is temporary and can lead to a permanent Spouse subclass 100 Visa after 2 years.
- Spouse (Permanent) Visa - subclass 100: This is a permanent visa for a person, who is married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen.
- Spouse (Temporary) subclass 820: This is a temporary visa for a person who is married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen. This visa is for applicants who are inside Australia when they apply. This visa can lead to a permanent Spouse subclass 801 Visa after 2 years.
- Spouse (Permanent) Visa - subclass 801: This is a permanent visa for a person, who is married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen.
- Interdependency (Provisional) Visa - subclass 310: This visa is for a person who is outside Australia and is in an 'interdependent relationship' with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen. It is a temporary visa which can lead to a permanent Interdependency subclass 110 Visa.
- Interdependency (Permanent) Visa - subclass 110: This is a permanent visa for a person who is inside Australia at the time they apply and is in an 'interdependent relationship' with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen.
- Interdependency (Temporary) Visa - subclass 826: This is a temporary visa for a person who is inside Australia at the time they apply, and is in an 'interdependent relationship' with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen. This visa can lead to a permanent Interdependency subclass 814 Visa.
- Interdependency (Permanent) Visa - subclass 814: This is a permanent visa for a person who is in an 'Interdependency Relationship' with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or ENZ citizen.
